Lj, not sure if I'm asking too big of a question, but if i wanted to weld at home, what steps should i take? Specifically i want to be able to weld front axle reinforcements on.

Oh, and i currently know nothing about welding, but want to learn

Not knowing how to weld and not knowing what equipment you have. Im not sure you should weld an axel reinforcement on yourself. I think i would take it to someone who has a little experience.

I agree that i shouldn't just buy a welder and just go to town, i would definitely mess that up...
