The way Anaheim was playing in the 3rd I don't think anyone could stop them, didn't seem like the wings blew it at all. I wish they'd play that way all the time.. Would be unstoppable.

I agree.....

Go WINGS, ABSOLUTE GREAT recovery from last game.

It was going to take a goal like that to get one passed Hiller tonight. He should've been one of the "stars" of the game. He played awesome.

Sorry for your loss, bro

Wings were all over them... Ducks couldn't even get the puck in OT.

The local Toronto fans here usually become a Duck fan or an "anyone who plays Detroit" fan as they are a bunch of vindictive idiots.

Hope Toronto makes an early exit (most likely won't beat Boston) to anger the "leaf nation" or whatever these fanatics call themselves. I guarantee the dummy who got flattened in Boston was flapping his gums like the local idiots do. I don't condone thuggery but these Leaf fans are beyond obnoxious.

Sometimes you gotta get knocked out for your mouth.

Hawks are playing great. Pens are tied with Isles, that's surprising. Canucks are about to be swept... Anything can happen in the playoffs.

Break out the broom..
Fluery might as well go home at this point, not like he's helping the pens at all.

Wings headed to the Pond tonight, should be another great game.. Hopefully my ducks keep the wings at bay, really don't want to go back to Detroit and be facing elimination. Need the PP to pick up a couple goals and keep playing like we have been and should turn out well. Can't wait.

This series would be over all ready if detroit could score on the power play. Z and Pavel need to start putting the puck in the net if they want to win this series.

Wings have no consistency. Look like a million bucks for a little while then can't get the puck out of their zone. They are lucky Howard is playing so well. They now have to win both remaining games... a tall task.

If it wasn't for that it would have been a blow out. Ducks had some really great chances that Howard wouldn't let by.. Could have been 5-2 without him being a wall.

Game 6 is going to be a big battle for both sides, I love watching these.. Just so nerve wracking when we aren't ahead by at least 1.

For sure, seems like the wings have to work twice as hard for a goal than the ducks.

I think this has to be said for both net minders.
Hiller and Howard both have stood on their heads to help their teams out. Honestly, look at the Ducks game 3, we got worked. Was that us playing bad or Ducks playing good...then game 4...Wings ran all over the Ducks.
Hiller seen something like 48 shots...
Kudos to both goaltenders.

Very true. Tell you what, how about game 6 we play back ups, no Howard or hiller. Fasth hasn't been in the playoffs but they said that about him in the NHL earlier when he went on the 8? Game win streak.

In all seriousness though, will be another tough battle tonight, if perry can have another good game look for him to breakout on the scoreboard finally. Him and Getz hot and we'll be very difficult to play against.

Wings tied it up... one more win and they make it to the 2nd round. They've done better than I thought they would for a rebuilding team.

GO WINGS!

They looked good last night except for the last three minutes, but they won and that's all that matters. I just hate when they get a lead and just play defense. Should be a awesome game 7 hope I can stay up and watch it.

The refs helped the Ducks score the 3rd goal... I've seen more bad or non-calls by refs since they went to the 2 Ref system. Hope the NHL will fire some of these idiots. Brutal.

Vancouver series was atrocious. A few fans put a video together on YouTube about it.

Yea that was bad, I thought the back ref was going to get it or something, even perry had that look on his face. It's been bad both ways all year, doesn't surprise me about Vancouver, their fans are the first to complain about bad calls, deserving or not.

Game 7 tonight, going to be really intense. If we can stay out of the box I really don't think Detroit can beat us at home, but if the penalty mess starts again its going to be rough.

Hawks will be a tall task, but you never know what can happen in the playoffs. Wings are hitting their stride at the right time.

Wow, Hawks are getting outplayed by the Wings. Hawks are only excelling at crosschecking guys in the back, otherwise they are being outplayed at every level.

Toews complained about his manhandling in the last game and all he did was give it to guys in the crease, maybe he should find the puck instead of crosschecking and high sticking guys.

I thought the Wings didn't have a chance against Chicago, but the Hawks don't impress me at all. You need more than a good record to win the cup, you actually have to play hard to win it. Wings are outworking them. GO WINGS!

Again the officiating is bad... don't really know where the penalty is going at times. Some are called that shouldn't be and others that should be called are not.

what a game, big win for the wings. datsyuk is the best player at every aspect of the game. he deserves the Selkie for his face offs alone.

game four is going to be intense.
