I've always seen Mississippi Mud on the shelf at the liquor store and wanted to try it.
I finally did the other night and I'll admit that the bottle is what first got my attention,
but it's damn good!

I am lucky as there are numerous great breweries in the area but at present Kettlehouse Cold smoke is the beer of choice.

Stella or Fat Tire are my normal "go-to" choices, though I also do enjoy Dos Equis on tap as well.

If money's a little right, I'm also not too proud to drink a PBR (I like to think of it as "Poor Broke Redneck")

We went to Whole Foods today and I picked these up.

The Ghost Face is freaking HOT! Ghost, Habanero, Serrano, Jalapeño, Fresno and Anaheim peppers. It tastes more like watered down salsa than beer. It's worth it to say you did it, but not a fantastic beer.

Just came across this thread.. Love it! And that is one interesting sounding beer! Not sure if I could handle that lol

After getting into Untappd, I started trying new beers and was going for badges. One of the badges required me to drink different American beers, one being High Life. I've always been more of a Miller Lite fan than a Bud Light fan, but more of my family drink Bud Light so I go with the flow. Anyway, I hadn't High Life since the mid 80's and forgot how much I like it. Can't beat the price, either!

New Castle is what I normally stock in the fridge. I take Shiner Bock when I can find it. If I can't get either of those two, I'll look for Amber Bock. Long Board, Abita and Red Stripe works as well.

And I love trying out any craft beers that I can get my hands on.

When I was younger and drinking to get buzzed/drunk...I drank a lot of Coors, Coors Light, Aspen Edge, and Yuengling.

Now I don't have the desire to get drunk often, and I realized that a lot of US/Canadian mass produced beers are pretty much pisswater...I drink a lot of micro-brews and imports. I only drink Yuengling from the North, the Florida plant produces a slightly different flavor IMO. Then again, I drank the PA brewed for years.

I do like Grolsch with the stoppers, Hoegaarden, Blue Moon, Heineken, Moosehead, Rogue Dead Guy, Shotgun Betty...I try to try a couple of new 6 packs a month. And only bottles, never cans!

Completely different taste. A bit metallic. Granted, most of my preferred beers don't even come in cans, but I personally think it tastes different

As explained to me at Budweiser's beer school, it's not the taste of aluminum, it's the smell. As you raise the can to your mouth your nose gets a wiff of the metal.

This is the voice of a man who had made the transition! Beer is meant to be enjoyed not just consumed. Grolsch is an extremely potent and tasty brew. I suggest any beer from Germany-Finland-Belgium-or even Japan. Micro brews are absolutely the best for flavor!
