You can mount almost any Auxilary light to the windshield, but only some actually work the way they should. For lights mounted on the windshield corners, you want long range lights, as fog and driving lights will cause too much hood glare. I personally went with KC 130W long range slim lights with their mounting brackets. There are definitely cheaper options out there, but I love the brightness and construction of these lights so I recommend them over anything.

It's hard to compare. The KCs on my jeep are the brightness halogen bulbs they offer, and they go farther and brighter than many LEDs I've seen. If your on a budget, LEDs aren't in your future. Neither would a high power halogen like my KCs, as they costed about 190$. But if you want bright, distance, real deal lights, go with the 130W slim lights by KC or LEDs if your willing to spend the $$. Everything is dependent on your budget.

I have seen Cree 24w for 120$. Black magics for 115$ with a harness.
