Look what we caught!

The catfish put up a fight but in the end RIPBIKER just jumped in and gave it a Vulcan death grip.

If you look on the left RIP is performing his death grip, not the same fish but one before we caught the giant one.

Are you sure it was the Vulcan Death Grip that did the trick? I think it MIGHT have had something to do w/ the whole clip he emptied into it fm the Sig! And if something that big came up outta the water towards my boat, I'd be looking for the harpoon gun!

Well, the first one is a young Whale Shark (yes, real name). Verry gentle and is way out in deep water. Not too many video's but they do show them on shark programs now and then. The whale shark (Rhincodon typus) is the largest shark and the largest fish. It is up to 40 feet (12 m) long and weighs up to 15 tons.

Learn about them here:

my wife is a shark nut.

It makes me sick to my stomach to see that. When are humans going to understand that they no longer need to kill that which they fear? Whale sharks are docile creatures, I know, I've been diving with them. There is no reason to kill whale sharks. Don't tell me it's for food, I refuse to believe there aren't enough cattle and chickens in the Far East to feed the population. Sorry for the rant, but I used to make a living teaching people about undersea life and to see it splayed out in a pool of its own blood is disheartening. Now, if it was an insurgent................?

Well, at least if you have a mutant child with 2 heads, they'll always have someone to talk to.

It's a plankton eater, they would have had to harpoon it or something. It's not like it would bite normal hook & bait.

Same here. We are downstream from Pittsburgh, Wheeling, and CIncinatti. The ohio river is like Swill... for those of you who watch old SNL, you know what I mean.
