Look who just got a new DL!

Hey guys am I getting old???

On the 12th of March I turned 45!

On the 20th Of March my baby turned "16" and got her new DL!

Here she is about to take her first "SOLO" in my JK
from Midland to Odessa the am she got her DL.

And... Yes we were the first folks in line at DPS that day!

We got her 2006 Jeep Liberty Limited out of the shop later that day
After a full 30,000 K service; a $90.00 detail; A full tank of Gas;
and a Roadside kit!

I guess she is ready!

If you want to wish her a HB it is alex@JeepTales.com

Good stuff. Its nice when they can drive them selves everywhere instead of you doing it.

My youngest just turned 18 on the 21st. He can now have passengers in the car.

The truth is we are now!

She is one busy kid; it is nice not to have to take her somewhere almost every night of the week.

I asked her today if she wanted GPS in the Jeep I might just put back in the
RB1 I took out of the Grand Cherokee and add a LoJack while I'm at it.

Have you heard the song by Rodny Atkins Cleaning This Gun ?

Congrats Greg. 16 is a big milestone for them. But isn't she a little young to be wearing some kind of a ring on her left finger?

Guess it pays to have a dad that sells Jeeps. Hell I wish my first ride would've been a jeep liberty. I had to settle for an 85 Dodge 600 Convertible.

Now that you have seen the Video and heard the song what gun will get the most attention from a potential BF?

But to her credit she is an A Student, Never been in any trouble, Choir, Cheerleader and a ton of other stuff to keep her out of trouble.

I just showed her your post...

She said email her a pic of yourself and your Jeep!

I think I'm scary enough without a Gun

BTW: the other big guy in the corner is her Uncel Ricky who lives in Austin.

But here is another pic of Alex at the Hula Hut in Austin with me this past summer... It is where she would like to work when she goes to UT!

Congrats! I was afraid when my sister got her license, but she is a very good driver.

Those BIG paper licenses must be a Texas thing

SaWEEEET! Cool car! I thought about sending a birthday e-mail, but that could seem a bit creepy, ya know? Do you have a membership at the local Gun Range? You have a beautiful Daughter, she is lucky to have taken after her Mom! I thank God every day I see one of these beautiful young ladies, that I had a Son!

I'm going to look into joining an area Gun Club; my Wife's Family has a big ranch about an Hour from Odessa so I have a place to shoot. But I would like to do more shooting with my family.

I'm kinda glad she looks like her mom too.

She has gotten a ton of Birthday wishes from a lot of me E-Jeepin Buddies. Not to worry.

She and I have practiced Judo for years I think if she had too; she could take care of herself. Perhaps not to the point to knock someone around real bad but some guys is in for big a surprise if he were to cross the line.
