Meh, the series was good but the movie that started the series was better than the series.

Hawkeye Pierce? I got a twix from headquarters about you... says you stole a jeep.

I LOVE MASH. Actually I like the original movie a lot better than the TV series but I still like 'em both. It took me a long time to figure out that it took place in Korea since I saw the movie right after coming back from Vietnam in '70. I couldn't figure out the old helicopters until I learned it took place in Korea. The tents, equipment, etc. were identical to what we had in Vietnam. Turns out some of the units I worked out (or at least I begged a bunk from to spend the night at since I traveled nearly continually) of there were MASH units, I never realized that until years later when I noticed what the sign I was posing in front of one day for a photo I have said... Mobil Army Surgical Hospital... M.A.S.H.

Donald Sutherland & Elliott Gould made a much better Hawkeye & Pierce in the movie in my opinion. The movie's shower scene when they dropped the shower enclosure around Hotlips while she was taking a shower was CLASSIC.

I loved the episodes where Radar was trying to mail a jeep back home to Iowa one piece at a time!

To me, Radar was the main character that I always enjoyed the most. He was the only character that was in both the original movie and the TV series, he was perfect for the role that he created. Sad to have watched him get old over the years since MASH.

My friend bought the DVD Collector's Edition with all 11 seasons and both movies...

Buy M*A*S*H (MASH): Martinis & Medicine Collection DVD @ DVD Empire

We chill out a coupe days a week and watch a disc....We're only to the 5th Season...lol

It's one of my favorite shows of all time! I used to watch it with my dad all the time.
