Maroon Bells Anyone?

Hey guys, my wife & I try to go out west to the mountains at least once a year to do some day-hiking. We are considering the Maroon Bells area near Aspen, CO for next year because I've heard it's a beautiful area. Have any of you been hiking out there? Trails you'd recommend for great scenery or wildlife spotting? Trails that were a disappointment? We are probably only going to have a couple days in the area so I want to make the most of them.
