Who's watching the Mermaid special on Animal planet. Mermaids are going to haunt me in my sleep after seeing that video

Watching this now. Although a lot of the pics and videos they show have to be fake, I think there's some truth behind it. I mean, we just discovered the blue whale, largest animal in the world, just a couple decades ago, yeah?

I think the most funny thing about these shows is that SOMEONE funded this production... Someone has to have pretty deep pockets and one hell of a sense of humor to get involved with these projects.
Ive been trying to fund a documentary/reality TV show about government contract work for two years now... Apparently if I throw in Big Foot, Nessi, or mermaids I can get it sold.

You have to admit.... it was clever.
Bigfoot/UFO's/lockness/etc ...
I won't sit here and say whether mermaids are fictional or not but the show did make me think.
