Count your blessings on this great day and be thankful that you have a jeep windshield to crack. Think how many are not so blessed and have no windshield to crack.

The small crack I had finally ran the rest of the way across my windshield today too. It wouldn't be winter without one.

Getting it replaced on Thursday cause its getting on my nerves. If the jeep was a little less new to me I wouldn't care so much. 2000 miles is to soon! Always something.

Just think if the windshield was folded down and the rock that cracked it could have cracked you instead.

Does anyone know if there are different types of replacement windshields or are they all the same?

yes there are different types of windshields. Some nat'l chain glass repair places have their own glass. You might have to specify you want a factory replacement if the little jeep emblem is important (might only be on newer versions I don't know for sure).
