From what i am seeing they are 30 minutes behind now....

He is having visor heat problems. Hopefully doesn't effect the jump.
He just broke the highest "manned balloon flight".

He made it. He broke the Altitude record but not the freefall time.
They are going to look more into it to see if he definitely broke Mach 1.

All I know is I haven't been that glued to the TV in a long time. Incredible jump and I can't wait to see the videos from his suit cameras.

My dad became friends with Joseph Kittinger at an Air Commando reunion a few years back. He says everybody is gonna pitch in to buy Mr. Kittinger a beer at the next reunion so he can cry into it when his records are broken. It's funny hearing a bunch of 70 and 80 year old veterans talk crap, but its a military thing I guess. LOL.
