More flex.

I noticed that my jeep when flexed was being limited by the short upper links and the trackbars. I took them off, and now I have a weird vibration coming from the front end. Would having the trac bars off cause the vibration?

Also, my buddy 02PROVE told me about this site, it awesome!

Ahhh, you took your trac bars offBad idea!! Those center your entire axle under the vehicle. Put those back under there asap. That would certainly be cause for vibrations!!

You took your track bars off?

Which way are you going home? I want to know so I can go the other way.

hmm and you did not get death wobble? the sway bar links off is fine but trackbars.. no way man. How would a jeep ride with them off anyways when turning? I assume that can snap the control arm bolts right off and also cause the steering to go everywhere since there isnt anything to stop it from going side to side.

I am only a lowly YJ guy and he posted that he took the short uppers and the track bar off. The only thing anone noticed was the track bar. No upper control arms???? I figured at that point it was a joke.

First off my YJ is far from stock so yes I do run a track bar now.
In a normal YJ the track bar is a waste of space and limits travel as the leaf springs already control the right to left movement of the axles. Once you install coil springs or coilovers or for that matter air shocks you need to either build in left to right control IE triangulate the the arms or run a track bar.
I am sure this is as clear as mud at this point, as you get into the jeep world more and do research you will get real familar with these terms.
Jim
BTW My YJ

LOL!!! I didn't ban him from MSJ... I see no real reason to oust him here I reckon.

Dude, he sold you up the river, a 1500 lb ATV winch would have been plenty for an H3.
