I use the auto shop on the local military base. 5 bucks per wheel and you get to help. If your military, buy your stuff and go on base. On the other hand, check the catalog stores like 4wd Hardware. Their wheel/tire packages I assume are mounted and balanced.

I got everything from and done by Discount Tire. Didn't cost that much more, and WAY less hassle for me

I think Desert Rat and 4WD do tire/wheel packages that come mounted and balanced.

Ya gotta weigh the options...Go online and get a "package", save 50 or 60 bucks. What happens when the balancing job ain't right? IDK, but after months of shopping, I found that, since I do not own, or have a friend that has one, a tire mounting machine, or a high-speed balancer, that I just feel a little better knowing that a nationwide company guarantees what I just bought, and the service that I purchased. They did a crappy job the first time. I took it back, it is right now. (The first time, they were complaining about the bead guard on my BFG MT's and the weights) The second time they used the adhesive weights (that can't get knocked off by obstacles) and everyone is happy. And I get to go back every 3000 miles and have it done again at no additional charge. Plus If I get a cut, or puncture, I get a new tire.

jc whitney has free shipping, but not a good selection, i dont know of any places that mount or balance for free online, but both of those are easy enough to do at home, mount them yourself, and add bb's and your balanced

Tire Rack does mounting and balancing for free. I've used them a few times without problems.
