Multiple Sclerosis Fundraiser - MS Bay to Bay Bike Tour

Hey Everyone,

Every year, I do a bike ride from Orange County to San Diego (about 100 miles) to raise money for the National MS Society. This year, I have a fundraising goal of $2000. Last year - I was able to raise over $3500!

If anybody is willing, please click on the link below and donate some money. Any amount is good - I will take all the help I can get!

Thank you for all your help!

Eric

Will there be rocks and obsticles? Dodging cars? We all want pictures.

Not so much on rocks, but plenty of dodging cars. Riding your bike down PCH in Laguna on a Saturday can be pretty damn scary.

As for pictures - be careful what you ask for. When I ride my bike, I am in the cycling shorts and jersey. That doesn't always make for good pictures!

Eric!!!

By the way, it's a great cause and I'll send four Jeep coasters (tiles) to anyone who donates over $50.

Yup - that is me. That is the pic that they take each year about a mile before the finish line. At least I don't look too stupid in that one.

Dang, a mile before the finish line? You look pretty good for having gone that far.... wow. I'd have been covered in bruises and blood, dragging my bike behind me, cursing like a sailor.

That was another year. I fell at the entrance to Camp Pendelton and broke my thumb. Finished the ride still (well - maybe only 50 of the last 70 miles, but not bad with not being able to shift gears on the main ring).

A big thanks again to all those who have donated to me!!

If anyone else is interested, please do! I am at $425 so far and still trying to get my $2000.

Did a training ride of 30 miles Saturday. Boy do I need to go on more of those to get in better shape in time for the ride.

Thanks,

Eric

Still not too late to donate!!

I am up to $600 so far, still hoping for $2000, but realistically - $1000 would totally rock.

Last push for more fundraising. I am at $725 so far and really want to get to $1000. That is half of my goal, but I would very happy with that.

Any last bit of fundraising anyone can offer up? The ride is in 2 weeks from now - still not too late!!!

My ride is this weekend and I did manage to hit my goal of $2000. Thanks to everyone who donated. I will get a few pics of the event later maybe.

Had a good ride this weekend - and a huge thanks to all those who donated. I rode 61 miles on day one and another 43 on day two. Felt really good this year through the whole ride. By the end of the second day, a bike seat is not too comfortable, but still a fun ride.

I will put a few pics from the ride up here tonight for those interested.

I am still taking donations until the end of November if anyone else interested. Would love to get another $800 or so to get into the top 150 fundraisers.

Eric
