I hear ya. I have a 4 point and 4 or 5 doe's that like to come around the back deck while I have coffee. We have a farm in Tn, and you would think the people around that area grew deer. Only about 2 months till bow season.

We r getting me a rifle. I have never bow hunted. I wouldn't mind learning. Think rusty shoots a .25 something. Shell was similar to my m16 rounds ha ha

You know we have had some strange storms this year. We had the mass tornado outbreak in April, then several nasty Tstorms. But the lightning has changed. I use to be cloud to ground now it cloud to ground with a bunch of cloud to cloud. Its like living back in Melbourne FL. It was wicked that far down south.

I have a Remington 243 BDL. Its one step up from your m16. I think the m16 round was a 222. In Tn you dont have many if any shots over 200 yards.

Bow hunting is awsom. I did not think I would like it but I like it better then gun.

I also hunt turkeys with the bow. Not much for eating wild turkey so I make jerky out of them too. Bow season is right around the corner here. Need to get my trail cams out.

I like farm raised turkeys deep fried like that but wild turkeys always seem to come out with the legs overcooked and the breasts undercooked. Venison chili sounds awesome. I do all my own processing and usually grind bacon into my burger meat. Keeps it together and adds tons of flavor to the burgers when grilled. Mmmm mmm.

You got it. I've got pics. Electric motor to run the spit rod for the hog and grates that fit in for the smoker/grill. Triple purpose. Friends always asking me to roast for them.
