I'm sure. I broke the fender mounting clips when driving a bit fast through some sand whoops with someone in back. Going slow it only rubbed and made pleasant noises. Can't imagine how bad it would've sounded with more aggressive tires.

I hear ya, I've actually owned an equal amount of all of them, but now a days, I have to say that Ford ALSO makes the superior product. My main vehicle other than the Jeep is a 2010 Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4

Was only 2wd but its been in the family for years.. and my uncle owned it.. he ended up shooting himself in the head :-( so we kept it in the family.. he was the 2nd family member to own it.. I gave it to my cousin as I didn't need it anymore and he wants to restore it again

Oh yea, that 390 was/is a stout engine. Had one in a 77 F-250 I had for a good while. It would run a hole in the wind WHILE pulling a large trailer.

Never did tow with it but it was more than capable.. I redid the exhaust after I got it as it would backfire every once in a while.. coolest sound ever though cuz you could hear it going through the pipe then the big bang

Yep, in mine, when the fuel pump went out, I had to get it on a trailer without a winch. I just put it in 1st & 4low & it crawled right up on the trailer using the starter motor.

I thought it was pretty cool it would do it
