That lift looks like it is rubicon express but that is just a wild guess going off of what the springs and shocks look like. Is it a long arm or short arm suspension lift?

I believe its a a short arm. Tubular. Control arms front and rear. Pretty much a newb. But very mechanically inclined.

You found a somewhat built up 08 with only 5000 miles on it? Damn.. And you will likely not have 6th on the highway with 35's on stock gearing.. I'll go grab you the gear chart to show you where you are and where you should be for axle gearing. That being said, at least it's a stick. The 4 speed and stock gearing sucks even for stock tires.

Take it to a offroad shop. have them look it over. they will tell you if it's done right. also with that size tire hopefully you should be able if it's still on it's stock gearing. if not the offroad shop should be able to anwser that as well.

Still in the green there I see which is good, so probably not regeared.

Something I just remembered. Should find out somehow if they had the front axle sleeved and guesseted. This is normally done on JK's that go over a 33 that have D30 front axles due to weaknesses within the axle. However the same weak points are there with the front D44 as well. I don't know much about how sleeving and gusseting a axle works so someone else would have to explain that to you. Also the offroad shop should be able to go into that in detail with you as well.

Good morning.

Steve, you should add Sedona and Johnson Valley in CA. I'm told its a must do before Moab and it might be closed down before long.

Agreed! One of my favorite shows. Last season was a bit of a let down from what I was hoping would happen. I really hope that it opens up and does some more this upcoming season. Got all the seasons on BluRay and will be adding last season as soon as it comes out at the end of the month.

I wheeled Sedona but in a pink jeep, literally. Gotta get mine out there. So lets add those too.

I started a new notebook with this list so I'll add as people come up with things. Would be awesome to do one wheeling vacay a year.
