I can't wait. I decided to put more into the lift than the tires. I like seeing big rigs and the large tires are great, but its just not functional for me. If I'm limited by tire size or suspension, I probably shouldnt be out there anyway especially with the fact that I dont want to really damage my jeep.

In 5 years I'll have 37s and deeper gears, but I'll also have a second DD so it can just be a trail toy. Til them it has to be my DD and maybe my bike if I get one.

The people who bad mouth leaf springs are the same who don't quite grasp the concept of them. An easy question to weed people out right off the bat is, what do leaf springs do that coil springs not do..

They allow the deletion of the sway bars as leaf springs are fairly stiff in regards to lateral movement?

Someone please explain to me why I'm allowed to post on a Thursday after happy hours.

you mean trac bar, yes.. But thats not what I was getting at, you can; with the correct suspension geometry eliminate trac bars on coil sprung axles..

leaf springs will provide resistance in both directions, where as coil springs will only resist compression. Where this comes in handy is off camber situations, coils can actually aid in a sideways rollover.. If your sway bar is disconnected nothing is holding the vehicle down on the higher side

He's actually really great. I dig him, quite a lot. And I've told him that, he knows, he just knows I wanna visit places, so he suggested visiting places together
