I like the fuel savings of my gsr.. plus it handles like a dream, and it's pretty quick. Best investment so far.. I pay like 35 bucks to fill my tank with premium fuel and it lasts me about 270 miles or so.. Over a week of commuting to work and then some.

Yer tellin me!
We took the nv435 4 speed out of his, put in an ax15, he had to fab up a bracket for the tranny mount and put a stock skid plate in

np205 out for an np231 with wide chain kit and jb conversions super short sye

Went from spring under d30 to a spring over ford hp d44 on waggy springs with reid knuckles, grizzly locker, high steer arms, beefed up steering, flat pitman arm

took the 2" body lift off and cut it down for a 1" to clear the tranny and rear of the motor

Dropped the 8.8 disc for a 9" with truehi9 and grizzly locker. Sprung it over too with waggy springs.

Outboarded the rear shocks and put on 14" travel ranchos, redid the front shock mounts for further travel too..

Tube fenders FTW! You can fit bigger tires then. If I could do it all over again I'd go with the fenders and a roll cage before I lifted it. Throw a set of 33s on there and lock it up and you can go places and climb trees without worrying about destroying your fenders.

33s on a stock jeep?!?!? My buddy has a rubi with a 3.5 RE lift and 34s with tube fenders and it has barely enough clearance for them. My jeep will fit narrow 33s but that's it....

I got my wide chain kit in.. no more transfer case popping! I hope it holds up better than the stock one.. but my guess is that stock one was in from the factory, and it's been abused especially behind the teralow 4:1
