That's a long while in the gym honestly! Especially if solo, can kill it in1hour to1.5tops! All about split routines unless you're going for that circuit training. Lulz use to coach and be a PT force of habit to reply to these things!

Mornin Rach...


I do 6 days a week, split groups with an hour max. Any more than that and your testosterone drops and it becomes a wash with results. Usually ill do a major muscle group and superset with a lighter workout for a supplementary group, then on the opposite day swap the main focus. Leg/Shoulders on one day of the cycle with emphasis on the legs, then shoulders the focus on the other day of the cycle with lighter routine on the legs. Works really good for me. Just got out of a cut phase though so I am trying to get used to eating so much damn food.

My diet days are done, wife wont let me show anymore, says im too nasty. I dropped from 278 to 242 for my last comp. Now im training for strongman, I eat all I want all day long.

Also on that note, my other job is a nutritionist/personal trainer, so not only was I a physique competitor but I also get paid for my knowledge. If anyone needs advice pm me, id be glad to help.

The training thing I do for fun, and its my jeep fund. Because I do it for fun and its not my sole source of income I pick and choose my clients which makes it way more enjoyable.

I just got into it last year. My cut didnt get me down as far as I wanted, but my lack of muscle was a bigger issue for me so I decided to start into bulk sooner rather than later. id love to hit 220lb lean by next spring, but its gonna take some work for sure.

I'm 6 days as well, push, pull, legs rest. Typically try for two a days when I'm
Off and hit whatever lacking body part. Hahha I'm on that winter bulk mode too currently, freakong sucks. Was on verge of vomitting trying to finish my meal

I've considered doing this, I miss training clients that actually want results. But I'm actually planning on competing physique next year so it's best I just get my head down and train hard and eat enough for this winter.

My biggest problem with that is I can't manage an appetite unless I workout and kinda just feel like the day is wasted. Natural bulk for now, cycles in due time. Staying lean is easy enough

I know this too well, lived out of my blender all last summer. PB, Oats, whole milk, whey, then just water all day. Eventually I got use to it and would feel like I'm starving but couldn't eat anymore. Just started the bulking again last week. Looking for 210 from 195 come Christmas.

The only problem is I absolutely LOVE being in there.... I started telling myself to leave after an hour or so, but it just doesn't work.... I'm always like well lets do another few sets of preacher curls or another few sets of calves or whatever else is on my mind lol

Then I come home, sit around and watch TV for the day or just dick around.... So far I'm getting 4 meals a day with some high protein snacks inbetween. I've rediscovered peanut butter too! 2 whey shakes... Wake up and post.. And casein before bed....

But I did split training for a week. An ended up staying in the gym for 3-4 hours today on the split days....

I know what everyone says about it...
1-1.5 hours in the gym tops, high intensity, do all your sets with as little rest inbetween them and inbetween exercises and you'll grow... But only with proper nutrition....
I just don't know what's gonna work for me yet.. Good news is in 2 weeks I put on 4lbs.... No idea how much is muscle but something's working....

I know a few guys who have went this route too. People pay for bodybuilders experience... I mean think about it... Who has more experience than a man who manipulated his body by bulking and cutting and knows more about the anatomy than someone who works for maximum definition, size, separation, and symmetry?
