Everyone is entitled to their opinion and for her it probably did. I'm not much for cities, street lights or most people for that matter so south suits me lol. Just a slower friendlier way of life. But I will say in all my travels you can find that same thing anywhere in the world. Doesn't matter the country or the continent. There are good and bad people everywhere.

Oh, I had a Santa Cruz blur. Just sold it and bought a 5.3 vortec for the jeep.

Have you seen Bears at Big Bear? I've heard stories but, I have yet to actually see one in the wild. Not really sure I want to though. I hate snakes and I think Bears are next on my list. I've heard the horror stories about being around them if the Bear has a cub with her.

Aye, Yi, Yi. $3000 dollars for a Mountain Bike!! I bet that sucker is fast though. It takes a while to get use to them after riding ten speed racing bikes. I've been riding bikes all my life. Just can't do the same things with mountain bikes because of the shocks. I feel more in control when I can jump, and bunny hop the entire bike.

I hadn't ridden since high school. Bought a Trek earlier this year to get back into it.

So very true. Most foreigners can't believe I was born in California. They seem to think I am too kind in my manner. I guess I have some southern hospitality. lol.

Gosh, there is nothing like a good long bike ride, once you get back into shape. I miss my days of 20 mile bike rides into the mountains.

Na I been around snakes, scorpions, bears and tel:416892wild hogs my whole life and don't really fear them. The most dangerous encounter I have had was with drug runners. They land their planes on the dry lake beds in Johnson Valley. Actually been in a shoot out with some. So I fear humans far more than nature.

I guess that's why I like So. Cal so much. We don't have many bugs, and relatively no humidity, especially in the mountain areas.

I went to Corpus Christi, Tx when I was younger and I thought that I was going to pass out. And, the bugs were huge, and bothersome.

California is truly like Paradise. It just costs so darn much to live here, as compared to other places.

California is geographically the best place to live and I have traveled I mean traveled. But man the government here sucks. I had my taxes down to $300 per month the moment obama was in office for some reason my taxes shot up to like almost a thousand per month. Maybe because I'm a contributing tea party member.

Here is a run we did in big bear and the next day I was out on my paddle board. So can't complain about location. Just management and that can be fired.

My girlfriends tend to scare most people more than I do as a man. They are normally very pretty, but they give people horrible looks if they bother us. I don't understand that look. But, I guess I don't want too. lol. I just think women have this way of giving people, men or women, a look that makes them scurry away, like a dog with his tail between his legs. And once they give that look, the words out of their mouths will cut you like a knife.

For example, once I was in the mall with my girlfriend, and this sales person was watching us like we were going to steal something. My girlfriend was getting really upset by it, since we were both highly educated and not thieves. Finally, the sales person couldn't take it any longer, and he walked up to us and asked if he could help us find something. My girlfriend gave him that look, and sternly said,"If we need your help, we know where to find you", and she gestured to the area where he had been standing at staring at us. Boy, that guy scurried away and I never saw him again. That look is brutal.

It's strange but women scare me more than any guys that I have ever known. That's probably why I need to get few drinks in me before I can talk to them. lol.
