More tire sidewall is better for offroad driving

I like the guideline half the tire diameter or less for the wheel diameter..

My jeep is far from awesome and ill be the first, second, and third to admit it (multiple personalities.. what can ya do?) But it stands out when someone puts something on their jeep for looks rather than true functionality.. not to mention not only will 18in wheels cost more but so will tires..

I have 16's wrapped in 33's. I agree with the rule of 1/2.

Paid $1400 for 5. Under $1000 will be tough with just tires and wheel spacers.

with the exception of when the wheel size is limited by other things. ex: very few 15 inch wheels fit on a JK due to the size of the brakes.

pine barrnes and rausch creek are where most new jersey people go.

Having never desired to even look at a jk.. I don't know the size of the brakes lol.. but still, 16s are a common size and wouldn't look horrible with 33s..

for the best budget set up, you can go with spacers, and a 255/85R16 tire(aka 33") and keep your stock wheels.

If you don't wheel much you can get tires, spacers and budget boost. Very basic and affordable. That's what I was going to do until I started wheeling.

oh yes. just saying. like IIRC, the newer ford 3/4 ton and up trucks cant get away with anything smaller then a 17 inch wheel.

ALOT! That guy I told you about says JK is the most capable off road vehicle in stock form. I was surprised by just a/t tires.

I was thinkin bout the budget boost, my 'mechanic' (my uncle) thinks it'd just be smarter to get an actual suspension lift, the money isn't the issue. I have it, I'm.just still looking at options.

Lol to be honest I don't see any other new vehicle being marketed for any sort of offroad use..

Budget boost is out. He won't let me. And by that I mean he won't help, and that means it won't get done. Lol

Spring lift is a suspension lift.. its just differentiating from body lifts.. budget boost would technically be considered a suspension lift since its modifying part of the suspension
