It is a kill switch. Even with a key or even if they bust the ignition or try to hot wire it, it will not start unless you throw the switch.
i like this idea.... i work in downtown Harrisburg, over night and since i got the jeep i look out the window at it almost every half hour to an hour to make sure it's still there and unharmed.. between drunk people and some of the people that wonder around there i can't trust any of them.. some cars were keyed the over week and i was nervous for my SS i'm not worried about that anymore now it's the breaking in and taking the jeep..
Yep I bought a 2004 Rubicon from Gerald of Savvy Offroad. It's a nice Jeep but it needs work to get it ready for the trail. The compressors for the lockers aren't even installed right now, I have a lot of work to do to it... but I got a great price on it.

Sorry to hear Jerry, hope you get the Jeep back. I lived in San Diego for 5 years in the 90's while in the service. Loved that town but my jeep suffered; it was like every 6 months someone was trying to steal it. 6 times in five years. By the time I left in 1996 my steering column had been replaced twice. The only thing that saved me was a truck club that I kept on my steering wheel. The club was hammered too ; there was no rubber left on it and it had many many dents all over. There's no worse feeling that of getting robbed. Sorry bro.
Search party from one side of America to the other? If we find the idiot who did this let's ruin his life! Crush his real car like the US marine armer devision did to an Iraqi car with an Abrams tank. Revenge is sweet but receiving it is crappy. Let's show this person why they shouldn't jack another jeep again!
