Oh dear God Jerry, I'm so sorry.

I hope who ever stole it winds up a quadriplegic! I HATE thieves even more so than liars!!!

EDIT: Jerry, you may want to post up a laundry list of it's parts. I know your rig had some prototype parts on it. If they try to part it out it should be easier to track them down.

Holy crap! "That sucks" doesn't begin to describe it. I'm very sorry. At least the fact that it's easily identified may help. :fingerscrossed: Good luck, and again sorry Jerry.

I couldn't imagine what sorts of hell it would be for Eloisa to be stolen.
GET ON CRAIGSLIST/EBAY after making that laundry list of its parts and look for every last one of them...they're sure to show up somewhere.
When you find that guy who stole it...when, not if...don't call the cops,
get a few buddies, and some heat...and ruin that theif's day. Then, brand a small jeep symbol on his arm.
(I'm partially serious...that whole thievery thing is just ridiculous.)
I'm really sorry to hear that man.

It is a kill switch. Even with a key or even if they bust the ignition or try to hot wire it, it will not start unless you throw the switch.

I'm lookin into lojack...but I don't like the idea of having a tracking device in my vehicle 100% of the time.

I don't like to be able to be tracked
but I guess the theft possibilities outweigh that...as long as i know where the transmitter is...in case I need to take it off

Wow! That sucks! Sorry to hear it man. I Had My race bike stolen out of my trailer when I was down at an event in Al. I drove myself crazy for months watching for parts to show up on ebay etc. and they never did, nor did the bike.

For my next bike I looked into lojack and I found out its not as reliable as you would think from what I'm told.

I feel your pain and fingers crossed it turns up in one piece.

A Baja switch is nothing more than a hidden switch that disables the ignition system, starter, etc. Most of them work by disabling the ASD (auto shut down) relay which kills the power to the ignition and fuel injectors.

Thanks for the thoughts & wishes for a speedy recovery of the Jeep guys, I do appreciate them.
