I'm a big 1911 fan too - I shoot an STI Trojan in local matches. A Browning Hi Power 9mm is my carry gun, but I'd like a smaller one too - those little Kahrs look sweet.

Mossberg Persuader - 12ga

I kept the stock on, but it comes with a pistol grip. Only takes three shells, but you can get a 10 shell "snail drum" for it. Magazines are available, too.

But short of a Zombie Apocalypse, I cant see a need for anything more than that first shell.

photo from the web for illustrative purposes. lol

I'd rather shoot the 1911 at the range. It's way more fun. I'm more accurate with it than my PM9 or M&P. It's just too big and heavy for me to carry everyday. That's why I like my Kahr so much. A nice small 9mm that's easy to carry and conceal.

Its kind of a pita but it didnt cost a whole lot, couple hundred mayby.Im in Albany county so when I want to buy a gun I have to put money down on the gun, fill out the papers and go down to city hall to hand them in.Wait for the judge to sign them(always takes less than a wk,not too bad). They then send me a letter to come get my "coupon" so I can get the gun.I go down, pay $3.00 get coupon and pick up gun. Too much work if you ask me.

If I were to buy that Id have to pay a dealer approx $50.00 since I would have to have it shipped to there store than they have to do all the b/s paperwork to release it to me.For me it wouldent be worth it but its a great deal.

My local FFL only charges me $15 for the transfer. I transfer a gun there about every 4-6 weeks so they have all of my info on file. Makes it quick and easy for everyone involved.

Yeah.N.Y. sucks for that stuff. When I got my permit a few years ago the typical time to get it was anywhere from 3 months to a year.I dont know how in the hell it happened but I had mine in a week. They always check references also but they never checked mine.I have no clue why.I dont have anyone pulling strings for me.A lot of people I tell dont believe me.Funny

Looks like our stash. Between me & the hubby we've got 2 Kahr PM9s, 2 S&W M&Ps, a Kel-Tec 380, Sig P230, & the 1911. Oh and the loaded shotgun under the bed.

4 ammo boxes full.
