I love guns, but I don't see the need to have a large number in my house. I like to think of myself as a very solid marksmen with what I have and don't plan to add much to my collection. Currently I have a Winchester 20 gauge semi auto, Enfield .303, Remington .22, Keltec .380, and the newest member to the clan a DPMS Ar15. The only addition I see myself adding would be a full size pistol.
I've been debating for a number of years on buying an AR15. I finally broke down a few weeks ago and instead of buying a new bumper, I went with a rifle that I knew would get more use than the bumper.
DPMS Ar-15, 16" barrel with a flatop and M2 grips. I've added a 45 degree picatinny rail on the top (added a sling mount) of the grips as well as a rail to the bottom so I can add a flashlight. The optics are a 38mm UTG red/green dot scope. I had originally put a cheap red dot on and the housing a springs busted on it within the first three rounds I put through the weapon. I will probably add a laser and that will most likely be the end of the mods, unless I decide to pony up the cash to get the paperwork approved for a suppressor. This will be perfect for hog season.
