Yeah I just had that done a few months ago. I enjoyed my Percocet haze while it lasted.

Yeah opiates do 'slow things down a bit'....I'm surprised youve been doing ok with the OCs, they give a lotta people really bad nausea...a bunch of idiot kids around here, and everywhere, snort those pills to bypass the time release and the nausea. Never have never will.

Slow down!

Oxycontin should be dosed every 12 hours. Regular oxycodone and oxycodone with acetaminophen (percocet) can be dosed every 4-6 hours as needed. If the oxycontin is not covering (ie breakthrough) then you need a shorter acting pain med in between doses. Oxycontin is a sustained release oxycodone that should work for 12 hours (approx). Along with constipation and nausea keep in mind that other drugs that are sedating will prolong the sedation from the pain med. Please use caution as depressed respiration is the major side effect of too much narcotic on board. PM with any questions
