Myrtle Beach

The wife and I are making a trip to Myrtle Beach this weekend and on into next week. We've never been. Any suggestions? Do's and Dont's? Good eating?

Thanks

Don't stay at ocean lakes its either too young (15-20) or too old (70+) do play put put if the kids are young enough. There are a ton of good seafood places, but it is very tourist oriented, so if it has an all you can eat buffet, and a huge concrete crab, don't rule it out. You can fish at the piers if that's your thing, or cruise the jeep, tons of golf (more than you could want) I live in upstate sc, so we went all the time as a kid bit they closed the pavilion so that was my main memory as a child with the big wooden roller coaster. It's a great vacation, and if you're staying in ocean lakes its really not that bad just rent a golf cart a be a redneck. Have fun.

Excuse me I just saw the wife and I which I'm assuming means no kids, stick with put put avoid buffets and hooters, also go to wings, its a cheap t-shirt place with all kinds of beach nick knacks. And go to every bar you see, the crowd at myrtle beach is ridiculous sometimes, but always fun to watch.
