Here's the next one to guess on......///the black lines are covering the vehicles name...reason I put the black line under it.

hint....The maker classified it a "truck" not a car.

Hint...#2...this company also produced a vehicle commonly confused with a Willy MB...why people confuse it with a willys is beyond me.

AZ...like I said...I don't know why people confuse a Batum with a Willys but they do I guess.

dang. thought the rear end looked off, but I'm still looking..

oh and to me if its armored and more than one person fits into it, it qualifies as an APC....but I've never been in the military...so your "definitions" don't matter to me.

We've got a winner...

Morris LRC (light recon. car) MK2

This one is one of a handfull still left... They didn't hold up the best because they were only rated to a 1/2 ton.

I haven't seen most of these cars either, and I agree, it's fun to see some obscure car makes.

The few I've been able to answer correctly are more a result of my google skills, and a tiny bit of deductive reasoning (steering wheel on the right, can't be later than 1960, those lines sure look Italian...that sort of thing).

The ATS 2500GTS posted a few pages ago sold at an auction recently for over $500,000. So it looks like that's another one that will stay on my fantasy list, and not in my garage.

I've come to the conclusion that I suck at identifying cars, and that my google-fu is weak when it comes to searching for them. One cool outcome is that I've coome across so many incredible photos and descriptions of some really cool cars. There are a ton of sites out there that have photos, histories and information about so many different cars.

BTW, that pick up a few pages ago was a JPX Pickup truck from Brazil.

Here's a site that lists about 3,500 automakers from around the world and throughout history. There are some good pics, and once you see something that intrigues you, more information is just a targeted google search away.
