need a new cell phone droid x or droid 2?

I gotta get a new cell phone soon and would like to know if anyone has the Droid 2? My girlfriend has the Droid X and loves it, but its a little big to carry in my pocket (I have the LG Envy Touch now ) its easier for me to have my phone in my pocket instead of some type of holster to get caught on stuff with work etc.... The Droid 2 has a slide out key board as opposed to the touch key board of the X....which I think is a plus for me.....and Im told the camera is only 5 megpix opposed to 8 megapixels on the X. Her phone does take great pics....but you have to compromise somewhere right? lol..... So, does anyone have the Droid 2, if so how do you like/hate it??? what are the pros cons compared to the X? thank you

They are identical performance wise. Camera, keyboard and size are the factors. I have the X and dig the mutitouch keyboard.

I put it in my pocket. I find it fits rather well. Its feels great in my hand (Im a big dude though lol) The touch is surprisingly forgiving. I was going to get the Droid 2, but found the touch keyboard was easier for my big thumbs to type on.

Nick, how do you carry your 2? its a tiny bit smaller than the X from what im readin, not alot, but in a pants pocket that could play a role, i cant use a holster device so its gotta go in my pocket

I'm rockin' the Droid 2, and I love it NOW, when I first got it I wasen't crazy about it. The battery life for the first couple weeks was terrible but after a few charging cycles it got a little better. If you go Verizon, and upgrade to the full data plan, I was kinda pissed that they charge $9.99 a month for VZ navigator when with my old plan it was included, but can use Google nav for free.

Over all the Droid 2 is pretty good.
