Need Honest Opinions

Ok guys and gals iam looking to sell my jeep but not exactly sure on what to set my price as. as of two days ago my 5th gear went on my jeep after searching i found out it was the snap ring that needs to be replaced. The car runs fine with no problems shifts smoothly 1-4 and reverse at the moment i dont have the time to work on it. Iam not looking to rip anybody off therefore want to sell it a reasonable price.. its a 1995 4cyl YJ 5spd with approx 166xxx soft top 32" mastercraft coursers m/t full size spare 3" body lift the interior is rhino lined, comes with a cobra 29 cb radio

Kbb price minus cost of repairs is the best starting place IMO.

Kelley Blue Book

I would price it a little higher...the Kbb value of a 95 YJ isn't going to be what you can get for it. I would start at probably $3,800-$4,000 to give you some wiggle room to come down if need be.

$3500 firm. it's an aggresive and decent price. be upfront with the gear issue but sell all the pluses. someone's getting a deal, you can tell it's been taken care of. that eases a lot of minds when buying a used Jeep. you always wonder if the last guy beat the crap out of it.

I just bought that exact Jeep about a year ago with 85k miles, 2.5l, a bad AX5 in it for $1600 and it came with sliders and soft uppers..... had a crunched RF fender and 32s......full size spare and minor issues with soft top.

5th gear in the 4 banger is unnecessary anyway.

Honestly, you better find someone who is pretty stupid to buy that for anything.

$3500 firm, take no less. Kelley Blue Book is a sham/scam or what ever you want to call it. Your jeep should sell easily.
