They also own a TJ (non DD) so she is used to pesky noises but not on a new car.She is not a "car person" and not picky by any means- if she returned it- the Juke must have been really bad.

I understand I didn't make myself clear...I know nothing about new "cars" about the only thing I pay any attention to is Jeeps.....I like the "look--sweeping lines, higher stance" etc. of the Juke but know NOTHING about the "car" crossover or whatever they are calling it.

I know nothing about mpg, reliability, noises, build fit and finish...to me it is one of the few "cars" that I like the lines/ looks of...and assumed it would hit his price point...and not real common...now I see why!!

Thanks for the heads up!!

I think Nissan missed the mark on the Juke...not a fan of the looks. That they have a transmission feature (a button on the dash) that makes it "feel" like the CVT is actually shifting is such a ridiculous concept to me.... The whole vehicle is confusing to me. It's just one of those love it/hate it type cars...

Passat deisel? Nah, if we get a Peoplecar, it's gonna be a GTI.

I really like the styling of the Subaru XV, but man, it looks like they missed the mark on the engine they dropped in it...too bad.

I was looking at the Ford Focus Titanium 5-door yesterday. I like it. So, we are slowly narrowing it down...the good news is, the repair of our current Hyundai turned out to be minor, so we have some time to do plenty of research and test drive a bunch.

The narrowed search includes the Ford Focus Titanium, Hyundai GT, Mazda3, GTI, Subbie WRX (not the STi), Infiniti EX35 and Audi A3. We threw in a couple luxury models in case we decide to treat ourselves.

So, if anyone owns one of these or has experience with them, I wanna hear the good, bad and ugly. Keep the info coming! It's very helpful!

I appreciate everyone's input on this so far. Thanks!
