New Gun (By popular demand)

Just got this in today, a Sig Sauer P229 Elite Stainless

I didn't like the way the wood grips felt though so I swapped them out for the grips that were on my other Sig 229.

Does a dinner gun have to match his bag or his shoes?

Coolio. Looks nice. .40?

BTW - you need to get a good light along with both left and right side holster - so you can carry one on each side. Just for the high cool factor.

And where's the rang ereport with the obligatory pictures of a tiny, ragged, one hole 50-yard group? I'm waiting.

Looks sweet, Rip. Very pretty wood.
How can it not feel good in your hand?!? It's WOOD, for crying out loud!

And Tiny, a dinner gun needs to match his belt buckle and, if possible, his boots.

As long as he isn't wearing his tight jeans!

Sorry guys it's a .40 and it has to match the belt, which matches the shoes. DUH! And I'll where my white t shirt under a nice shirt so I can wear the matching tie and I'll be sure to grab the tight jeans too!

No no no! The metal of your gun has to match your belt buckle. Trust me on this, I know.

Ok well the belt buckle I wear DOES match the metal of the gun. I'll post pics later.

Oh wait, in the "Post your pic" thread the last post I poster has the belt buckle in it. too lazy to find it right now.

Lazy ass... sweet pistola. I'm not a big fan of stainless but it's not my weapon.

Is the stainless significantly heavier than the black pistol? I've shot P220's n stainless that seemed like they weighed a ton compared to our issued pistols.

I thought it would be but even holding them both it's not much. Eyes closed holding them both I could barely tell which was which.

With the slide off and just holding the frames, the difference is more noticeable.
