Nice chevy yours? I spent several years helping my dad rebuild a 69 vette roadster, which he still has parked in the garage down in GA. Lots of power, but no handling. As for my pick of the 944, it most likey go's back to my first car a 71 240Z. Small, quick and great on the curves. Thus the porche reminds me of that. However if I had endless money it would go to getting one of these:
CJ.XJ.CJ. TJ. TJ.ZJ. TJ.TJ. ZJ.ZJ.YJ. XJ
sad to say, but my dads. helped him with most of it, we've had it for about 8 years. 33k original miles, ss396(402), muncie 4 speed, holley carb, edelbrock manifold, heddman headers, msd ignition, flowmaster 40's and a k& n.
heres a few more:
2005 Rubicon 6 speed
REBB, Teraflex Discos, KC 150's
A to Z bumper & rockers
Location: Under the hood of the jeep from hell (not mine)
Man, nice chevelle. I just sold my '69 Nova. I had it set up as a drag car. Over 25K invested. Only got peanuts for it (sucks) all it really needed was paint and interior. Spent to much on the mechanicals (my favorite part) and not enough on appearance. Topped it out at over 180 mph. Was slowing down, highway patrol pulled me and wrote me for doing 100 in a 55. Lucky he didn't catch me sooner. That ticket still stung though. Maybe I can dig up some pics.
If there's a will, usually there's a way, but then you get to that bolt that you still can't get to with two extensions, two universal sockets, and a contorsionist midget trying to help you.
1999 XJ Four door, mostly stock for now, but I am in the process of building a custom plate bumper.
