42 WHP isn't that underpowered. The car only weights about 1380 lbs. It has about the same power to weight ratio of a stock 2.4L YJ

Well I was wrong. After calculating the power loss from the drive train it adds up to 64 hp at the flywheel so I guess the engine builder was right.

I don't blame you, you paid good money for a new motor and had to replace the head gasket after 5 minutes run time. Not cool.

Chris, I've got a 190+ HP Yamaha R1 motor on my bike that would SERIOUSLY wake that little Mini up.

Pretty much a one-way ticket straight to jail.

LOL. Pretty much. That would take the power to weight ratio of the Mini up to 280 hp/ton which is very very near the Lamborghini Murciélago which sits at 300hp/ton and better than the Ferrari 550 at 260hp/ton.

Today I drove up to Huddersfield Spares (3hrs one way) to get some tyres and wheels for the Mini and I picked up a bit more than what I had originally planned. I took a friend/fellow mini owner with me and he picked up some stuff too.

I picked up 6 new tyres and wheels mounted and balanced. 7x13 Ultralite wheels in silver with Yokohama 175/50-R13's. The 2 extras are for the trailer tomorrow. I also picked up 2 Cobra racing cloth bucket seats with brackets, a new set of fiberglass Sportspack wheel arches(fender flares), and a set of polished stainless mirrors.

My friend picked up a set of 4 wheels and tyres mounted and balanced, a new set of wheel arches and a few small body panels.

All 10 tyres and the seats the rest of his and my stuff fit in the back of my VW Golf....barely.

Yes Millie is coming back to the states but she will hang out in England till August and then start the journey home. The trailer and all the Mini bits will go with my household goods.

Ooh, I'm so excited. I finally took delivery of my new toy. It's primer for now and just a shell but that will get fixed once it is back in the states.

Yes and I can't wait.

Here is an advert for a Mini that looks very similar to what I'm planning on. The main differences are the wheels I have are deep dish and the wheel arches are wider. The white striping will be silver but that is the same color blue I'm going with.

That is one beautiful car, Mille is going to look great in that color. I wonder how much he wanted for that Mini? N.H. is right next door to me.

No. I have the tools and equipment but not the time so I had a friend of a co-worker do it up. He just got a new shop and is getting his business geared up. This is the first Mini trailer out of his shop.
