Yep, the wind is only blowing 41 mph today.

Isn't wind fun? We've had 40some mph winds with gust of 60-65 mph for a couple of days. Blew my flag down (bent the metal pole in half), took a bunch of shingles off the roof and knocked down part of the fence. It's finally calm today, I've got a lot of repairs to do before the rain/snow comes back tomorrow.

Me being from Amarillo, any day in West Texas is a good day. But they are okay here in South Carolina too.

I was speaking to a sales rep up there and got the same info. I sure hate it for you guys. I lived in Tacoma when I was a kid and loved when my dad took up to Mt Raineer on the weekends.

There's a 3/4 ton Chevrolet truck parked outside my window and it's wiggling back and forth in the wind. Sometimes I wonder why the h*ll I live here.

It certainly takes a certain kind of person to live here and to find the beauty in it.

OMG!! I just drove from nashville to phoenix via I-40W and holy crap that wind is freakin' crazy. you know the wind is blowing when a full size chevy is having trouble holding 75 without dropping down a gear.
