Non-jeep Muffler Question

I've got an 03 Chevy with the 6.0 motor. I want to give it a rumbling muffler. I was looking at the Flowmaster unit but they only offer an SUV cat back system. Its got a really mellow sound, I don't want mellow. Yet I don't want a muffler that will drone at hwy speeds.

Any suggestions?

well you wont need a whole cat back system or bigger pipes if you wanna keep it to jsut a rumble on acceleration

besides that most like flowmaster or magnaflow, or borla should be good, idk specifics

just a flow master 40 would sound real nice. The flowmasters sound real nice on the v8's. Magnaflow is nice too.

To use a Flowmaster 40, 44 or Super I would have to install duals according to their site. They are not rated for the cubic in. with just one muffler. I did not want to go duals as there is no benefit to it.

Has anyone run just one of these on their 6.0?

I ran a flowmaster in my 6.0L 2500 CC LB 4x4. I believe it was a 50 series. The application for basically just Escalades, Denalis, 6.0 pickups etc. Sounded real good till I sold the truck I will warn you though, that factory muffler, and even the flowmaster, is a BIIG muffler Shipping might be kind arough.
