Non Jeep Passions/Hobbies

So, what do you love or love to do other than wheel/work on your jeep?

It can be pretty much anything you want.

My days consist of school, working out, and my jeep. and since school obviously isnt my passion, and we all know we all love jeeps, I guess that leaves lifting.

Oh and don't say xbox because that doesnt count :P

Amen^ that just reminded me of the flag near where I live. Its about the most beautiful thing I've ever seen. The poles a good three hundred feet high, the flags gotta be well over 60 feet, its lit up by six giant lights. God Bless the US

Remote control boats

My first hobby is R/C boats, I build copys of real boats and ships, go to fairs, public gaterings, and regattas all over the State of Washington.

I've won best of show several times for the work I've done, they are set up with all lighting and sound systems.

Some pic's of my work.

My 1st passion is RV'ing. I don't mean camping, I RV with a 32' travel trailer. My idea of 'roughing it' is using the ant. instead of the sat dish.
I also include into this photography(outdoorsey things) hikeing/walking(w/my 'posse'(2 ankle biters))
Think i may have to re-think going class'A' (driveable RV) so i can drag the jeep along or go with a toy hauler(wonder if the jeep is too big or heavy-humm, have to look into that)
haven't been able to get away lately as often as i like(off for 20 months) but hopefully the new year(and job) will fix that.

Had to smile on that one-santa brought us one w/kinnect. 1st game box we owned(kids had em over the yrs-just not the adults-wife actually wanted it)
haven't really done too much with it, been kinda busy-but have the next 4 days off. like the sports games(bowling isn't bad) and like the fact it connects to netflix=whole lot easier than hooking up the laptop to the big screen. if it gets us 'old fogies' off the couch, it has to be a good thing

Oh my.... lets see, I paint walls and pictures, and furniture, and most anything else. I sew, I love being outside when the weather is nice, so I'm always washing/waxing/detailing what ever is in the driveway if the temps are right... Relaxing poolside is one of my favorite things, but unfortunately I have no pool...

Traveling-but the Jeep is involved-one tank weekend trips mainly-take a 3 or 4 day weekend and drive as far as you can on one tank of gas-than check out the local stores/antiques flea markets, festivals, beaches, bed and breakfasts and musical talent. If hiking/nature walk is in there even better. Oh. and also make sure support the local "mom and pop" eateries. Going Southern IN in the spring, need to find some seat covers- and maybe a giant beach bag for my windows?

We are building an off grid sustainable house. Plants, I'm an herbalist, my dogs, we do middle ages education in many schools in our area so the garb construction, i knit, sew, weave, all that kind of stuff. Teach dog obedience classes, travel, not much room for anything else.

Someone has hobbies outside of Jeeps? Actually I love to shoot, reload and anything that is R/C related especially if it flies.

Working out, shooting (especially sporting clays but I don't get to do it enough), playing guitar, going to flea markets and antiquing with the wife.

That's about it - the Jeep really consumes most of my free time one way or the other.
