MRAP. Just finished my pre-deployment training and part of it was MRAP rollover simulation. Spun us around a few times and had to egress while on it's side and upside down.

Not a MRAP. Those are Caymans. MRAPs have dual rear axles. I drove them multiple times in Iraq. Have a couple pics of what one looks like after a near miss with an IED.

Its an MRAP. There is no one specific MRAP design. Its a ”family” of different types of armored vehicles. Kind of like Wranglers and Cherokees are both Jeeps.

I went through all the training BS in Kuwait and the civilian contractors made the distinction between the two. But yes, I think you might be correct in the matter.

FYI you should see what one of those will do to a donkey...not pretty
