Seriously, I'm an ass, I hate rude people and when I encounter one I can't help but pick at em until they lose their cool.
There's a good reason I work nights.
Sorry... I been slinging wrenches around my Heep all day. I worked up a mighty funk and have yet to tend to it.

If he can smell you all the way from Wa. then I'd suggest something more than lava. I may have been mistaken by the bad funk in my room. I have 2 sleeping boxers behind my chair. Now I know it was you!

If your deliberately trying to put someone down in a mean manner just to be a dick, it's not called for.

Voicing what you want is welcomed, but there comes the part of self censoring that plays a big role. And I think it just may be harder for some to word what they want to say in a way as not to come off mean/rude.

It's all how you word it really. But some have thicker skin than others.

Very true. I'm far more visual than verbal so, expressing myself with words is not easy a lot of the time. Maybe that's why I'm such a smart a$$.

I usually stay out of threads like this one. I'm a watcher. However, alot of you have made very good points in your opinions of the topic of this thread. A keyboard is an extension of our personalities. Some people are just rude. Some people are just nasty. Some people are just rude and nasty.....and that's how they come across on the net. It's just the way they are. On the other hand, there are alot of folks on here that are very pleasant people to know.....that are considerate of other people's feelings and go out of their way to be kind. There's a ton of useful information on this forum, and a ton of personalities that come with the package. Some people I like, and others I don't really care for, but they don't know who they are, since I don't make it known. That's my personality.

Actually, the Army issued me large caliber weapons and the ability to separate emotions from my work. I never said I have feelings... lol...

Yup, I agree, except, it is never a good thing to be rude, if you can express yourself, without being rude, go for it.

but sometimes its not how you express it its just the dumba$$ that interprets it the wrong way...you can always be polite but its up to the other person to accept that thats the way its coming across.

Yup. That is why good parents teach children how to act.

(There are several threads on this forum that I have been mis-interpreted)(mostly because I was speaking under the influence) Doesn't excuse, if you think, before you speak, and have the intelligence, and the information, there is no reason to be rude. There is no cure for stupid. There are people in this world that are challenged. I wager, about 15%. 32% of the rest believe whatever the TV tells them, or what their folks have done.

I know on emails and in real life I can come across as an ass. Most of it is from being blunt and not sugar coating things. A co-worker tells me to advance in any company you have to play the game. I hate the game. If you have a question ask but don't cry over the answer. I hate it when people don't have a back bone enough to face the music if they ask a question or do something stupid.
The other thing I hate is when people feel they are entitled to everything. I am a large person so I have no problem telling people who park in a Handicapped space because they feel they should that fat and stupid are not Handicapped. Also if you park in one of those spaces and I am around and you are not handicapped expect me to say something. Those spaces are not for you. I know I run the risk of offending people but that is me. I know it sucks.

I haven't been on here long, so if I asked a stupid question. Feel free to fire away. I'm pretty thick skinned.

In RL, I've really learned to watch what I say, and try to pay attention to the tone in my voice. My previous job when I was over a manufacturing Department, I would lose me cool a lot, Someone turning the wrong switch, and causing $800+ grinding wheels to blow up, and causing 12 hrs worth of repair time, killed me. And I just learned that after people started complaining to my boss about it, I just learned to not say what was on my mine (they needed a lot of Sugar Coating). Now I just pay attenetion to who I'm talking with, and in what setting at work and home. I tend to stay sober in a lot of family settings, just so it doesn't slip, and cause a bigger problem.

HEHEHEHEHEHEH

Oh man, everyone that knows me knows, I have NO FILTER!
Sure, I bite my tongue because down deep we all wanna be accepted.
But you know what? I call a spade a spade. I like to have fun!
If something I say offends... Then, well, you're probably a candy ass who has no sense of humor and nothing better to do than set and have a pity party because poor little you is upset because your life sucks!
And that's not my problem! Man, I set around and look at how things are and I always just set there with my mouth open going WTF? Is this some kind of Bizarro World? I swear! People need to lighten up!
My god!

So having said that.... Let me rant a little!

Oh! I'm sorry mister "I can't use the search button"! Let us all drop everything and save you from the horrors of doing a little research! God knows we wouldn't want to interrupt your hours of surfing porn to actually answer your own damn, dumb question!

Also! Its called "SPELL CHECK"....Lets say it together.... SPELL CHECK!!!
USE IT!!!!!!!

And please.... Pop your Mammas T*tty out of your mouth and step into the world of grown ups! Yes Virginia...The world is a big ugly, nasty place full of badness! This isn't the 1950's! Quit pretending that it is! if I wanna throw around a barrage of colorful metaphors and look at naked hooters... Then guess what! I'm a grown up and I have earned my right to do so!

Now...For some NON-Web related venting!

If you are one of those people who drive around totally oblivious to your surroundings and pull out in front of me.... Please keep you banter and gestures to yourself... Unless you want that finger broken off and shoved in your fudge hole! Its not my fault you are too busy talking on the damn cell phone to notice me driving in MY freakin lane! I mean, for Sh*t Sake! You pulled out in front of me!!!! Get over yourself!

Next... I believe that we should sterilize the morons! Yup, their seed has made the gene pool murky enough!

Also... Read the f**king sign! It says 10 items or less! Don't make me kill you with that canister of Pringles!

Give me a little break! I could give a rats arse about your honor student! I made good grades in school... Nope, not once was it plastered on the back of my Moms Grocery Getter! Geez!

And Jared! Whoop-de-f**kin doo! You lost weight! Great! So have I!
Go stuff a sandwich in your mouth and shut the f**k up!

President Bush... One freakin question... Don't you have to pass an aptitude test or something before you can become the leader of the free world? I mean COME ON!!! I've seen retards at the Chucky Cheese with a higher IQ!

Welfare in NOT a way of life! Get off your lazy ass and get a job!

Why can't Don Imus say "Nappy Headed Ho's" yet 50 cent can say the "N" word 900 times in a song? If I can't say it...then neither can you! So shut the f**c up already!

OK! Well..... That feels better! WOW! Dang!
I'd like to stay, but I'm off to therapy! have a nice day!
