Off roading in a jeep

What all do you need when off roading?

A list of everything would be appreciated!

A jeep and a trail, sometimes not even a trail.

what type of off roading makes a bit of diff. my basics in my big bag are chains, basic tool kit, nylon/kevlar straps & metal straps, & snatch block. it all fits in a bag a lil bigger than my hockey equip bag, weighs about 50lbs (the chains r heavy lol) ive also found a couple nice android apps like my tracks & a compass app. if youre goin solo, a winch is always nice to have, or know youre terrain well. i keep a bit of everything cause i do mud & sand as well as gravel. if youre lookin for basic trails w/hard bottom puddles, all that stuff isnt needed, but a tow strap just in case wouldnt hurt. also a small shovel, or old or extra floor mats if your gonna be in sand. if youre gonna be in deep mud or deep water, extra oil, gear oil, and a jug/bucket to put the old stuff in if u swamp it. hope this helps, and you have a blast!!
