Unhappy Oh crap! My neighborhood is on fire!

Since when did West Texas become California? What's next? Mudslides?

I guess they're evacuating parts of my neighborhood as I type. My wife is heading that way to see if the chimney is still standing.

Damn, that sucks. Better tell her to pull the heep out of the garage. I'm sure you don't have a stated value policy on it.

And how can you have mud slides when you are on flat ground? Wouldn't it just still be Mud?

I told her already. Park the Landcruiser in the garage, open all the doors and hope to hell it burns to the ground. That's called equity.

The Jeep, I told her to get in it and drive like a bat out of hell. That's called inequity.

Mud slides? EXACTLY! If we can have forrest fires out here then anything is possible.

Wow that sucks, start wetting down the roof.

I think they finally got the fire under control. Four different counties pitched in and got it handled.

Good deal boss. I was worried because I hadn't given you the address for the new shop yet.

No. It stayed about 1/2 a mile away. All is good.

They evacuated a school that's about three blocks from my house and there were fire trucks and police all over the place. We don't deal with this everyday so we don't know how to handle it. Mass chaos.

Thank God for the Fire Department! As much needed and as much underpayed as the police force. I'd vote for anyone whos policy it was to pay them more with better benefits.

That's really cool. I'm sorry you had to travel into hell though. There's not much here but those damn pump jacks and a bunch of rabbits.

Maybe that is how Scout finances all that work on his rig, a little mini oil well in the back yard? Your last name wouldn't happen to be Clampet, would it?
