1000 grains of powder puts a lot of velocity into a round. Not to mention that round is very large. Kind of like putting nitrous on a speeding bus.

yeah but when the bullet or "nitrous bus" hits the target or "side of building" it will do alot of surface damage and make a big "splat" but do to the design of the round or "nitrous bus" I don't believe it would penetrate very deep. Correct me if im wrong cause I'm no expert on bullets or physics. Which from the manufactor info I've seen these rounds were ment for "Big Game" like Elephants, Rhinos, Hippos and large Os. All those animals have very thick hides so wouldn't you need max penatration?

Those rounds would not only knock down an elephant, but also the bus behind them.

If you hit the elephant just right you not only kill him but field dress em at the same time.
