The price was the deciding factor. I named an asking price and it was met. It's all good though. It's a jump start towards my JK. I paid cash for the XJ so I have no car payment now.

Besides...The TJ was bone stock once to. I'll put the same love into the XJ. It will be looking pretty good once I start opening the wallet a little.

Sorry to hear you had to sell your TJ. Good looking XJ though, any plans in motion for the XJ?

i vote for turning it into a zombie jeep. you can't go wrong with beefy bumpers and gun turrets

Didnt have to, but it seemed like a means to better things. And it brought $12k so I'm not just losing all the way around.


I'm tossin thoughts around. So far I'm pretty much limiting it to 32/11.50 tire size. Wanting to go Rubi Moab rims. Needs to be all lift. Not interested in cutting/trimming. Body is very clean, would like it to stay that way. Bumpers front and rear. Winch on the front and tire carrier on the back. Possibly a cargo rack on the lid for lights, tools, and things. Need to fish and hunt from it while maintaing driveability on long trips.
