paracord accessories

so since i checked out of my unit i have alot of time on my hands to do...well whatever i want, i dont officially have a place of duty til august sixth and thats to be at the airport to fly to japan..yippee....anyways i was looking for hand grip wraps and a some what cool automatic shifter knob thingamajig (i know i should have a manual) and i remembered i had some extra 550 cord lying around so i decided to utilize it, i wrapped my door handles my shifter knob and im gonna wrap my handle above my glove box, im also contimplating on wrapping my wheel, i dont know how it will look and am debating whether or not it is worth the time i will have to spend wrapping it...i am also lookign into making handle bar oh shit handles, i figure its 550 pound test cord so with it braided it should be just as strong if not stronger than anything i can buy plus it will be a whole lot cheaper...i will post pics of my creations tomorrow, its 4am and im to lazy to walk down three flights of stairs to my jeep to take pics tonight....

ps...its done in coyote brown so it matches my interior perfect...

Cain made his handle pulls out 5-50 cord, they're like these.....

He made them while serving in Iraq. Are you braiding them or using a specific knot?

Cool. I made some when on QRF duty. Gave a couple to iraqi kids and brought some home for family and friends.

honestly i dont know how i did the middle of my shift knob a was just jacking around with it and it worked but the handle is easy.

take your paracord and line it up with your handle, leave a piece of slack hanging as long as your handle, then take the rest of your paracord, just wrap it around the handle, go under the slack back over the slack behind the handle, under the slack, back over the slack, i dont know if this makes any sense, here is a close up pic maybe it can help

im really not good at write ups, i jsut played wiht it awhile tili figured out a look like, if you research on google their is alot of ways to play wiht paracord...
