Hey guys sorry if this is the wrong thread.. but i'm trying to buy something off eBay and it says try paypal... I set up a paypal account but on eBay... how would I set my paypal account up on there? Or whenever i'm finished with bid do I just say I have paypal or something?

Thanks.

When you go to pay it gives you the pay via paypal option as long as the seller has listed that he/she accepts paypal. It should walk you through it.

Stay away from paypal ,you give them
control of your account and if there is a problem
they can freeze it

B.S. Been using paypal for 5+ years. They have been great! The only way they'd freeze your account is if you went shady on a deal.

Yup, only way they'll do that is if there is a dispute filed. I've had to use it before on a purchase. Why wouldn't you want your online purchases to be secure and validated thru a company like paypal? You just want your money to be gone on a purchase?

Nuke, in your Ebay options it gives you Paypal options also. They are all over each other especially since Ebay bought Paypal.

Yes If if dispute is filed by other party, they freeze your
money .buyer changes mind, finds it elsewhere
Why would you let others control your money?

I am glad it has worked for both of you
just wait till someone uses it against you
Do a search and hear what can happen

I have used paypal for 6 years, I had an ebay business. Ebay suck, they make all of us advertisers only accept paypal for payment. My friend who also has an ebay business had her listing taken off because she said she would accept checks or money orders.Paypal is ok, but yes they will freeze funds if there is a dispute & also if you are paid for something they take a percentage. All in all I used Paypal for what I needed it for & had no problems, it can be a hassle though if things go wrong so just read up on their policy's & rules to be aware
