Exclamation Pentegons "Internet 2"

Quote:
Pentagon: The internet needs to be dealt with as if it were an enemy "weapons system"
How would you react to the Pentegon forcing you to use "their" internet that monitors everything that you do/say and keeps a updated psychological profile of you?

Does Al Gore know about this?

If you think you have seen hacking before this, imagine what it would be if that ever happened. And most of it would be directed at taking down the government run and controlled internet.

But it would create thousands of jobs---internet police, internet tax lawyers, internet IRS...

All outsourced to INDIA.

You would think that would be unconstitutional.... not that that means much anymore... but the government will do what they want until enough of us get together to do something about it...

LOL people dont care anymore debruins. I have only seen "people" come together and fight really bad things like this twice in the last 5-6 years i was paying attention to politics. Think about all the things that have happened and not once have people stood up and said "no, thats illegal." Firearms get yanked from our hands, and we are told we can only keep them in the house, or if in DC you cant have them at all..were taxed on every red penny we spend, government controlling the automotive industry, despite knowing NOTHING about selling cars.."special sessions" where citizens have zero input on government decision like the new maryland taxes...illegal lobbists..

you can go on and on all day. The fact of the matter is, most americans are too lazy to get involved now, and politicians do what the want for the most part anymore.

With that said, I don't think this would ever fly. America, and the world in general, rely too much on the freedoms the internet give. If the internet was controlled, monitored, and taxed, we would loose way too many jobs and small businesses, and the recession would be MUCH worse.
