Pepper spray...oh yeah

So we had to do our annual training with our OC spray, it is always quite hilarious seeing how much people freak out and lose control when they have to interact with that stuff...I on the other hand have been blessed with imunity..all it does to me is make my skin feel like a sunburn but has no effect on my eyes i thought you all would enjoy some pictures, most only got a soaked sponge across their eyes (level 2) but we had a few navy docs and our 2nd lt get direct contact (level one)

me getting the sponge

me showing the bag who is boss

my roommate

the doc

me right after i got sprayed

OWNED

all in all in was good times, next time (april i believe) i will volunteer for level one since i seem to be immune.

we use alot of hand on tactics, we have our own martial arts program which utilizes alot of MMA type fighting. And we also train with expandable batons, if teh spray dont work, we beat them with batons, if that fails we shoot them...no warning shots allowed and we always have a round in the chamber at all times while on duty unlike some of the other services..

it depends on your job, our swat team uses the m4, while since im a garrison unit i fire with the a2...and we carry beretta 9mm they blow

If you get the good pepper spray in the small container it makes a handy condiment to spice up the MRE's a bit...got more kick then those whimpy little tobasco bottles..

I hate that shit! it lasts way too long! I would rather get hit 10 times with a tazer then hit with OC again.

I hated it as well. Used to have a training officer that was immune as well. But made the mistake of going home one day after a class with the stuff still on his uniform. Picked up his daughter and......well he was in deep kimchi with his wife for months!

I got to watch someone get pepper balled yesterday though! that stuff even affected me after three hours. of course I'm stuck in an enclosed area with a bunch of inmates.
