Perfect Pushup - Mobile unit

I just watched a comerical for the "Perfect Push up - Mobile Unit".

For just $19.95 (plus shipping and handling) I can "get ripped anywhere"!

Wow! I'm in........

don't knock the perfect pushup.

I thought it was BS, until I asked a military bud about it. He lifts weights ALL the time, hes like 6'0 225 with no visible fat. He told me to go to the store, do as many pushups as I can, wait 10 mins, than do the perfect pushup.

Go to the store and try it before you knock it. I ended up buying one. At the time I could do 50 pushups in a set and not be too tired. I got to 10 on the perfect pushup and almost gave myself a hernia

Best way to do pushups is sets of 10, move your hand position. Problem with "Perfect pushup" is it's just changing up what muscles you're using, kind of like the difference between a bicept curl and a hammer curl. It's a gimmic and you can achieve the same results for free. (pushups were my favorite, they build character in those who chose not to give 100%)

Unlimited, have you been watching late night TV while doing homework??

I'd like to add that the push-up is a great exercise and character builder but, push-ups alone won't cure the problem that plagues me and millions like me... We need to learn to do the "Perfect Push-away" from the table!

But if we're on the subject of TV ads. Billy Mayes' hypnotic voice has subliminally told me to purchase Mighty Putty or kill small animals... One or the other. I'll let you know.

Wasn't "knocking" them. I question the need for a "mobile" version that I can cary with me and use anywhere. I can see it now: "Hmmmm, I'm standing in this line at Home Depot waiting to pay for these bolts. I know, I'll drop and do twenty using my Perfect Push-up Mobile unit...." I'm not sayin that there is anything wrong with the concept, but why create a "mobile unit" that compacts into its own fanny pack? Seems to me that the original ones are pretty portable if you want to take them with you when you travel.

I did

Not the perfect push up or anything, but when its nice outside (spring summer early fall) I ride my mountain bike from lot to lot at work (2 mile lot, company truck drinks too much gas idling around), run the lots looking for my cars, and was doing as many push ups as I could every car I wrote just for S&G. Made the day go by faster, and if I didn't have time to stop at the gym on the way home I didn't feel so bad. Not necessarily a perfect exercise regiment, but it worked pretty well coupled with a gym membership.

Than I broke my foot, started smoking again, and got too lazy to do that BS anymore Need to quit smoking and start again though. Ive gained like 40 lbs since I stopped exercising

I bought the perfect pushup and it just sits under the bed.
I just stick to regular pushups because it was hurting my hands. Yeah I'm a wuss. LOL!

Heh. I am sure you can do the same thing by making a first and turning while you are pushing (although I bet that's really bad for your wrists) or like Tiny said, just change your hand positions. I am lazy, and $20 is easier for me
