Hey, It's Derrick's fault. He convinced me we can't have all that Alaskan oil.

Besides, I can live off the land for a very long time.

What are you gonna do?

Well I just finished it. What a cheery speech, in the end we will all know. If he is correct all can say is buy lots of ammo for that 30-06 you will need it.

If you can afford it. You seen ammo prices lately. Better get it while you can.

Buy some extra towels, for your head.

Just got back from DFG. I bought my Hunting License, Deer Tag and Upland Game Stamp. Cali has a new law this year, no lead in your rifle/handgun for hunting game from now on. You have any idea what non-lead bullets cost? I can't use any thing I have, its all got lead in it. They are doing this to save the trees and condors. There are no condors where I hunt, not even close by. There are millions of trees in our forest, I don't think all the hunters in this state could shoot enough lead to kill a minute fraction of them. Oh, the kicker is its OK to use lead shot in your shotgun for small game and upland birds.

Can you say "Jimmy Hoffa"?

He'll just disappear, never to be heard from again.

For those who might be interested here is the link. Its a 1.25 hour video so you'll have to set aside time for it. Take it for what you think its worth.

wow man, that sucks, we've always had to use non lead shot for waterfowl, and yes to get decent ammo its expensive, but we don't have to worry about it for anything but water fowl

Start Drilling!
I love Gas & Caribou Burgers!
We could have the best of both worlds!
There is proof that the Caribou thrive along the Alaskan pipe line and we don't want to over populate!
